10-12 pieces of peeled and deveined shrimp

1 tbsp neutral oil

2 cloves of minced garlic
Fried Rice:

2 cups of day-old rice

2 eggs lightly beaten

1 cup of frozen vegetables (corn, peas and carrots)

4 cloves of minced garlic

2 stalks of green onions (white and green parts separated)

2 tbsp of neutral oil (I used avocado oil)

2 tbsp of soy sauce

1 tbsp sesame oil

1 tbsp of butter

Mise en Place:

  • Prep Everything: Get the rice ready, chop ingredients, get fresh shrimp peeled & deveined and have everything ready to go as it cooks really quickly. 

 

Quick Cooking:

  • Hot Pan: Use a well-heated wok or skillet for that classic stir-fry taste.
  • Cook in Stages: Don't crowd the pan. Cook shrimp then the rice, eggs, vegetables, and so forth.

Season well:
