20 minute One Pan Crispy Beef Ramen Noodles

This 20 minute beef and ramen noodles is your new weeknight bestie. Think lazy stir-fry meets instant ramen magic. I love making this when my family is craving noodles. It hits the spot every time. The sauce coats every noodle perfectly and its all made in one pan. Is there anything better?

Ingredients
  

  • 3 packages of instant ramen noodles discard seasoning
  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 tablespoon avocado oil
  • 4 garlic cloves minced
  • ½ onion thinly sliced
Sauce:
  • cup water
  • 2 tablespoon soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon vegetarian oyster sauce
  • 2 tablespoon rice vinegar
  • 1 tablespoon sweetener agave or honey
  • 1 tablespoon ketchup
  • 1 tablespoon toasted sesame oil
  • 1 tablespoon chili crisp
  • Garnish: chopped green onions extra chili crisp

Method
 

  1. Brown the beef: In a large skillet or wok, heat avocado oil over medium heat. Add the ground beef and cook until browned and super crispy.
    1 lb ground beef, 1 tablespoon avocado oil
  2. Add aromatics: Toss in the garlic and onions. Sauté for 2–3 minutes until fragrant.
    4 garlic cloves, ½ onion
  3. Mix the sauce: Mix all the sauce ingredients together.
    2 tablespoon soy sauce, 1 tablespoon vegetarian oyster sauce, 2 tablespoon rice vinegar, 1 tablespoon sweetener, 1 tablespoon ketchup, 1 tablespoon toasted sesame oil
  4. Noodles: In the pan, add the water and the sauce.
    1½ cup water
  5. Add ramen noodles directly into the sauce. Cover and cook for 2–3 minutes, stirring occasionally until the noodles are tender and coated.

  6. Finish & serve: Garnish with green onions and a drizzle of chili crisp.

Notes

  • Make sure you crisp up the beef before adding the noodles and sauce. Leave it alone for 3 minutes while cooking, you will get a nice crust. 
  • This recipe works with any protein. Swap ground beef for ground turkey, chicken, or tofu.
