Rinse rice until water runs clear; add to the rice cooker pot.
2 cups rice
Layer onion over the rice.
½ onion
Lay beef slices on top (don’t mix yet).
200 g thinly sliced beef
In a bowl, whisk water, dashi, soy sauce, mirin, salt & pepper.
1-¼ cups water, ½ cup dashi liquid concentrate, ¼ cup soy sauce, 4 tablespoon mirin, Salt + pepper
Pour sauce evenly over beef + rice.
Close the rice cooker lid and hit Cook.
Once done, fluff everything together and serve hot.
Serve with onsen eggs - boil water, add ⅔ cup of cold water and remove from heat. Place the eggs carefully and let it cook for 18 minutes. Remove and serve.
