Total Time 30 minutes
Servings: 8 skewers
Course: Air Fryer
Cuisine: Air Fryer

Ingredients

  • 8 pieces boneless skinless chicken thighs cut into bite-size pieces
  • 1 tablespoon avocado oil
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ½ black pepper
  • ½ teaspoon garlic powder
  • ½ teaspoon onion powder
  • ½ teaspoon smoked paprika
Garlic Parmesan Sauce:
  • ½ cup unsalted butter¼ cup parmesan cheese4 cloves of garlic minced2 tablespoon finely chopped parsley ½ teaspoon smoked paprika½ teaspoon salt½ teaspoon black pepper

Method

Prepare the Chicken:
  1. Cut the chicken thighs into bite-sized pieces. In a large bowl, toss the chicken with avocado oil, salt, black pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, and smoked paprika until evenly coated.
Cook the Chicken:
  1. Thread the seasoned chicken onto skewers. Air fry at 400°F for 15-20 minutes, grill on medium heat for 12-15 minutes, or bake at 425°F for 20-25 minutes, turning occasionally, until the chicken is cooked through.
Make the Garlic Parmesan Sauce:
  1. In a small pan, melt 1 tablespoon of butter over medium heat. Sauté the minced garlic until golden and fragrant, about 1-2 minutes, then set aside. In a bowl, combine the remaining butter, parmesan cheese, sautéed garlic, parsley, smoked paprika, salt, and black pepper.
Finish the Skewers:
  1. Once the chicken skewers are cooked, brush the hot chicken generously with the garlic parmesan sauce.
Serve and Enjoy:
  1. Serve the skewers warm, and enjoy the savory garlic parmesan flavors!

Notes

Use Fresh Parmesan – Freshly grated parmesan melts better and adds more flavor.
Hot and Quick – Cook the skewers on high heat for juicy, tender chicken.
Brush While Hot – Add the sauce immediately after cooking to soak in all the buttery garlic goodness!

Soak the bamboo skewers – Soak for at least 30 minutes to prevent burning.
