Method
- In a large bowl, add the ground chicken, panko, egg, maple syrup, garlic powder, smoked paprika, salt, and black pepper.1 pound ground chicken, ⅓ cup panko, 1 egg, 2 tablespoons maple syrup, 2 teaspoons garlic powder, 1 teaspoon smoked paprika, 1 teaspoon salt, ½ teaspoon black pepper
- Mix everything together until just combined. Do not overmix.
- Shape the mixture into small patties (about 2 to 3 inches wide) or any shape you prefer.
- Cook using one of the methods below until the patties reach an internal temperature of 165°F / 74°C.

Air Fryer
- Place patties in a single layer in the air fryer basket.
- Preheat the air fryer to 400°F.
- Air fry for 10 minutes, flipping halfway through.
- Preheat oven to 425°F.
- Place patties on a parchment-lined baking sheet.
- Bake for 20 minutes, flipping halfway through.
- Heat a little oil in a nonstick skillet over medium heat.
- Add the patties and cook for 5 minutes per side until golden brown and cooked through.
