Ingredients
  

  • 1 pound ground chicken
  • cup panko
  • 1 egg
  • 2 tablespoons maple syrup
  • 2 teaspoons garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • ½ teaspoon black pepper

Method
 

  1. In a large bowl, add the ground chicken, panko, egg, maple syrup, garlic powder, smoked paprika, salt, and black pepper.
    1 pound ground chicken, ⅓ cup panko, 1 egg, 2 tablespoons maple syrup, 2 teaspoons garlic powder, 1 teaspoon smoked paprika, 1 teaspoon salt, ½ teaspoon black pepper
  2. Mix everything together until just combined. Do not overmix.
  3. Shape the mixture into small patties (about 2 to 3 inches wide) or any shape you prefer.
  4. Cook using one of the methods below until the patties reach an internal temperature of 165°F / 74°C.

Notes

Air Fryer
  • Place patties in a single layer in the air fryer basket.
  • Preheat the air fryer to 400°F.
  • Air fry for 10 minutes, flipping halfway through.
Oven
  • Preheat oven to 425°F.
  • Place patties on a parchment-lined baking sheet.
  • Bake for 20 minutes, flipping halfway through.
Pan fry (skillet)
  • Heat a little oil in a nonstick skillet over medium heat.
  • Add the patties and cook for 5 minutes per side until golden brown and cooked through.
