Ingredients
1 baguette (I used ciabatta, I recommend French loaf)
1 head of garlic
2 tbsp olive oil
2 tbsp butter, melted
1 tbsp chopped parsley
Salt, to taste
Instructions
- Preheat your air fryer to 400°F (200°C).
- Cut the baguette into slices, about 1 inch thick.
- Cut the top off the head of garlic to expose the cloves.
- Drizzle the garlic head with 1 tbsp of olive oil and wrap it in aluminum foil.
- Place the wrapped garlic head in the air fryer and cook for 20-25 minutes, until the cloves are soft and golden brown.
- Remove the garlic from the air fryer and let it cool.
- In a small bowl, mix together the melted butter, remaining olive oil, parsley, and a pinch of salt.
- Squeeze the roasted garlic cloves out of the head and mash them with a fork.
- Add the mashed garlic to the butter mixture and stir until well combined.
- Brush the garlic butter mixture onto the slices of baguette.
- Place the bread slices in the air fryer and cook for 4-5 minutes, until golden brown and crispy.
- Serve immediately and enjoy!
Notes
*if you can buy roasted garlic at grocery stores, buy it and skip making it on your own. This will cut your cooking time from 40 minutes to 5 minutes.
