2 New York Striploin steaks
salt and pepper
Japanese Steak Sauce
1/4 cup toasted white sesame seeds
2 tbsp onions
1 tsp garlic
1/4 cup soy sauce
1/4 cup water
1 tsp rice vinegar
1 tsp mustard powder
1 cup of grapeseed oil
Instructions
Japanese Steak Sauce
- Using a vitamix or a high-powered blender. Blend all the ingredients except the grapeseed oil.
- Once the mixture is fully blended, slowly incorporate the oil. Let the blender emulsify until it creates a thick sauce.
- Set the sauce aside in the fridge.
Steak
- Salt the steak on both sides.
- Sear on cast iron for 3 minutes on each side or until the steak is medium rare.
- Remove from heat and rest.
- Serve with the steak sauce on the side.
