THE BESTSTEAK SAUCE

Teppanyaki Style

This Japanese steak sauce, inspired by the renowned Kobe Steak House in Vancouver, stands as the ultimate complement to a steak. Once I experienced its delectable flavors, I was determined to replicate this extraordinary teppanyaki sauce.

INGREDIENTS

toasted white sesame seeds onion garlic soy sauce water rice vinegar mustard powder grapeseed oil

This versatile sauce complements a wide array of popular Japanese foods, including rice, steak, prawns, and chicken - it's a perfect match for everything!

Using a vitamix or a high-powered blender.  Blend all the ingredients except the grapeseed oil.

STEP 1

Once the mixture is fully blended, slowly incorporate the oil. Let the blender emulsify until it creates a thick sauce.

STEP 2

Store sauce in jars. Set aside.

STEP 3

Sear and cook steak!
